• Mission: To manage plaintiff personal injury cases from litigation through resolution, ensuring effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients and organized progression of legal matters.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Litigation Support: Provide crucial support to attorneys across all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigation, from initial case assessment through to resolution.
• Document Creation & Filing: Draft, prepare, and file various legal pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery documents with precision and adherence to court requirements.
• Case Organization & Maintenance: Organize, maintain, and manage comprehensive litigation files and all related case documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Deadline & Event Management: Coordinate court filings, meticulously monitor all litigation deadlines, and proactively schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other essential litigation events.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, communicating effectively and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and external vendors in both English and Spanish, while providing timely case status updates.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced litigation professional is required, with a proven background specifically within Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation. This role demands the ability to manage cases comprehensively from the initial litigation phase through to final resolution.
• Experience: Recent and direct experience in supporting attorneys throughout the full litigation process within a personal injury context is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of effectively navigating legal procedures and contributing to case progression.
• Skills: Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish, encompassing strong written and verbal communication abilities; in-depth knowledge of litigation procedures, including court filings and critical deadline management; excellent organizational capabilities and strong time management skills to handle multiple active litigation matters concurrently.
