What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Development: Develop personalized legal strategies for clients, tailored to their unique legal circumstances.
• Document Review: Meticulously review application packets, declarations, and motions for various immigration petitions, including family-based, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers.
• Team Mentorship: Grade and provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants to ensure accurate and timely document delivery.
• Client Advocacy: Conduct exhaustive initial reviews to identify legal issues and represent clients in Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews before USCIS.
• Operational Support: Serve as “Attorney of the Day,” providing legal guidance to the team, attending operational meetings, and participating in Consultation Day Events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must possess an active U.S. Bar license.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of two years of attorney experience, specifically in reviewing complex immigration cases such as T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS.
• Skills: Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish with native or fluent proficiency, and proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and Immigration Case Management Systems including Camplegal.
• Attributes: Must demonstrate a growth-oriented “can-do” attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail, handling a workload of 45 to 50 hours per week.
