Job Summary
This is an entry-level position for a Behavior Technician (BT). Under the close supervision of a Clinical Supervisor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BT will be responsible for implementing behavioral reduction and treatment plans for individuals with behavioral-based developmental disorders.
Essential Duties
- Working under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, implements treatment plans designed to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills.
- Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.
- Maintains client confidentiality and upholds client dignity at all times.
- Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Ensures that all treatments provided strictly follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and possesses proficient oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Job Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Some understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Licensure or Certification: Ability to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 45 days of hire.
