• Mission: Serve customers by providing trusted banking advice, processing transactions, opening accounts, and resolving problems to foster positive customer experiences and relationships while promoting the Bank’s culture, Brand promise, and Core Values.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Serve customers as a trusted advisor, engaging in meaningful conversations to provide relevant banking advice and suggest appropriate products and services that align with their needs and desired outcomes.
• Efficiently open all retail banking products and services for customers, ensuring accuracy in new accounts and making necessary corrections.
• Assist customers with a wide range of service requests, including account and statement research, safe deposit box access, rate quotes, and processing lost or stolen cards and transaction disputes.
• Proactively seek opportunities to develop new banking relationships from your personal network and the community, referring business to commercial, insurance, and investment partners.
• Maintain flexibility to travel to assigned Banking Centers to support staffing needs, working with teams to complete bank projects as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: Minimum one year banking platform experience preferred.
• Skills:
• Trusted advisory and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency with banking computer systems.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services, including making appropriate suggestions.
• Accuracy in processing transactions and opening accounts, with attention to detail.
• Adherence to all banking policies and procedures.
• Bonus: College degree preferred.
