Job Title: Backend Intern
Location: Remote
Experience Level: This internship is open to Freshers, Final-year Students, and Early Career professionals.
Type: This is a 6-month internship with the potential for a full-time role based on performance.
Stipend: The internship offers a competitive stipend along with a performance bonus.
What You’ll Work On (Responsibilities):
As a Backend Intern at AgentCrafters.ai, you will gain practical, hands-on experience by:
• Assisting in the development and testing of REST APIs and backend logic primarily using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Contributing to the creation of internal tools and services that support and streamline AI agent workflows.
• Working with various databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and learning about data flow within distributed systems.
• Collaborating with the AI and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of backend components.
• Gaining exposure to cloud services, Git workflows, and the practicalities of startup-grade development cycles.
Core Technical Skills (Required):
Successful candidates should possess:
• Basic proficiency in Java and a foundational understanding of the Spring Boot framework.
• A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with creating or consuming REST APIs.
• Comfortable using Git and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket for version control.
• Exposure to relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including the ability to write basic SQL queries.
Bonus Skills (Good to Have):
Candidates with the following skills or interests will be at an advantage:
• Experience or interest in using Supabase, Firebase, or similar backend-as-a-service tools.
• Curiosity about Docker and container-based development.
• An understanding of authentication protocols like JWT or OAuth.
• Participation in open-source projects, coding contests, or personal backend development builds.
