This opportunity is for the Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program (BDCP), which provides a pathway to commission as a Navy Officer upon graduation from a four-year college. This is a highly competitive program designed for college students nearing the completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Job Title: Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program (BDCP) Participant / Future Navy Officer

Program Overview:
The BDCP is not a typical internship. It allows participants to complete their bachelor’s degree as full-time students while receiving full-time pay and benefits. Upon graduation, participants attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) and commission directly into a leadership career as a Navy Officer.

Compensation & Benefits:
While in School:
Pay: Approximately $5,000–$6,000/month (E-4 level salary and allowances), which varies by location and dependents.
Benefits: Full-time pay and benefits, medical and dental coverage at low cost, 30 days paid vacation per year, and earning time toward retirement and federal benefits.
Debt Reduction: Opportunity to graduate with less student debt due to in-program compensation.
After Graduation (as a Commissioned Officer):
Annual Compensation: Beginning at approximately $117,000+ annually (including base pay, allowances, and benefits).

Responsibilities:

While in School:
• Maintain enrollment as a full-time college student at an accredited 4-year institution.
• Focus on completing your bachelor’s degree on time.
No military training requirements, uniforms, or drill until graduation.
After Graduation and Commissioning:
• Attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
• Commission as a Navy Officer in a chosen career path.
Lead teams and manage real missions with significant responsibility.
• Engage in meaningful, impactful leadership in service to the country.
• Receive world-class leadership training and gain unmatched global experience.

Eligibility Requirements:
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen.
Age: At least 19 years old.
Education:
• Enrolled or accepted at a 4-year accredited college without NROTC (or ineligible for their scholarship).
• Completed at least 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours).
• Minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale (strict minimum, no waivers).
• Committed to finishing your degree on time as a full-time student.
Physical: Able to meet Navy physical requirements.
