Job Description: Aviation Intern
C&S Engineers is seeking an Aviation Intern in Seattle, WA. This internship provides an opportunity to be an integral part of projects and support key team members. The program includes opportunities to meet with leadership and work with mentors on professional and technical development, as well as participate in company events and team bonding activities.
Position Responsibilities:
• Creating exhibits/working on plans in AutoCAD
• Creating real-life quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for projects
• Reviewing project specifications and understanding FAA rules and regulations for airport projects
• Learning about funding sources for airport projects
• Airport site visits/possible construction inspection (with supervision)
• Collaborating with engineers on real projects
• Utilizing safe work practices and communicating any safety hazards.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (completion of sophomore year preferred)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other 3D modeling systems
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Previous internship experience or involvement in a related student association is a plus
Compensation:
• Estimated Compensation Range: $18.50-$21.50/hour
• Actual compensation may vary based on prior internship experience, current academic year, degree program, certifications, and geographical location.
