Job Description

Special Finance has an immediate opening for a motivated Business Development Center Representative (BDC Representative) to join our fast-growing, established Business Development Center. If you are a customer service specialist looking to further your career with a respected automotive dealership organization, we invite you to join our team.

About the Role

As an Automotive BDC Representative, you will be a crucial part of our customer engagement efforts, directly responsible for monitoring and following up with potential customer leads received via internet, phone, and visits to the dealership. This role requires outstanding customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and a pleasant personality while working with customers over the phone.

Previous success in a BDC Center or a Call Center is preferred, but not necessary. Bilingual candidates are a significant plus!

Key Responsibilities

  • Following and maintaining relationships with former customers.
  • Monitoring and proactively contacting internet leads.
  • Determining each customer’s vehicle needs through active listening and effective questioning.
  • Learning, understanding, and diligently following established call and email scripts.
  • Setting, confirming, and following up on appointments for both sales and service departments.
  • Performing customer satisfaction surveys to gather valuable feedback.
  • Other duties as required to support the Business Development Center’s objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferably, a proven track record in a BDC center or call center environment.
  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to establish rapport and build lasting relationships to ensure repeat customers.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage multiple leads and tasks efficiently.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Verifiable work history.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong English skills are essential; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
