Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Automation & Operations Intern. The intern will assist with process automation, identifying inefficiencies in workflows, and designing and implementing automated systems. Responsibilities include creating and testing automation solutions, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the quality assurance process. Collaboration with team members and active participation in the optimization of current systems will also be expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Process Automation and designing automation workflows
  • Strong skills in Automation and Troubleshooting to identify and solve technical issues
  • Ability to create, manage, and evaluate Test Cases to ensure system efficiency
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance methods and best practices
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to work independently in a remote team environment
  • Familiarity with tools such as CRMs, email marketing platforms, and workflow systems is a plus
  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

INTERNSHIP PURPOSE (IMPORTANT)

This internship is designed primarily as a learning experience with mentorship, structured training, and supervised project work. The intern will not be responsible for core business operations or replacing a paid role.

DURATION / TIME

  • 6–8 weeks
  • 8–12 hours per week (flexible schedule)

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • How real automation systems are designed (workflow logic, triggers, data flow)
  • n8n fundamentals (webhooks, integrations, error handling)
  • Basic CRM + Google Sheets automation setups
  • Documentation and SOP creation (how agencies deliver consistently)
  • QA testing and workflow monitoring best practices

WHAT YOU’LL DO (TRAINING + SUPERVISED TASKS)

  • Create workflow diagrams and step-by-step SOPs for internal systems
  • Build and test automation components in a sandbox environment
  • QA testing: run test submissions, validate data, report bugs
  • Assist with organizing templates, checklists, and onboarding documents
  • Research tools/integrations and summarize findings for the team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with Google Sheets + basic tech tools
  • Interest in automation / no-code tools (n8n, Zapier, Make)
  • Ability to follow SOPs and document clearly
