Job Description: Automation Engineering Intern – 2025 Summer Internship Program
This internship is within Amphenol High Speed Products Group, supporting their Automation Engineering team in Nashua, NH.
Responsibilities:
• Gain Experience: The internship is designed to provide practical experience in automation engineering.
• Support Product Design: Assist in the design process by analyzing, testing, and deploying tooling and automation solutions.
• Machining and Prototyping: Contribute to the design and fabrication of prototypes using engineering software and machining techniques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external suppliers, manufacturing personnel, customers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prototype Development and Automation: Support the development and automation of prototypes.
• Documentation: Assist in writing scope of work documents.
• Testing and Analysis: Process and analyze testing results.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least a sophomore pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience with solid modeling tools (Pro/E, Creo) is preferred.
• Experience with machining and automation is a plus.
• Strong communication skills (both technical and non-technical).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
