About the Role
This is an AutoCAD Drafting Intern position at KPFF San Diego, offering a dynamic candidate the opportunity to work either full-time or part-time on a wide variety of intriguing local projects. Interns are placed in the middle of the work, expanding their technical knowledge and experience within a close-knit, rapidly expanding entrepreneurial team that contributes to professional growth through shared experience.
What You’ll Do
• Work on a wide variety of intriguing projects throughout the local area
• Use Autodesk® AutoCAD® and other design-related software
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have the ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer viewing a screen using Autodesk® AutoCAD® and other design-related software
• Have the ability to learn new tasks, maintain focus, understand and absorb instructions, and complete tasks independently
• Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative, team environment
• Have a degree in computer drafting and design, or are currently pursuing your degree
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Are willing to undergo a test to demonstrate level of CAD knowledge and ability
Bonus Qualifications
• Some Civil CAD experience preferred
Role Highlights & Compensation
• Hourly Pay: $21 per hour
• Overtime Eligibility: Interns are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with local labor laws
