About the Job: Audit Winter 2026 Internship

This is an exciting career opportunity for a Winter 2026 Audit Intern in CohnReznick’s Sunrise, FL office.

Internship Details:
Title: Audit Winter 2026 Internship
Location: Sunrise, FL office (hybrid model applies)
Duration: January to March 2026 (end date may vary by office/team).
Team Structure: Interns work closely within an engagement team comprising other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries Served: The Sunrise office serves clients across a variety of industries, which may include Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services.
Office Environment: The CohnReznick office provides amenities, collaborative spaces, and private offices.

Your Role as an Audit Winter Intern:
As an Audit Winter Intern, you will be responsible for becoming familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and performing these procedures in accordance with firm standards in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities Include (But Not Limited To):
• Working on all aspects of an audit engagement, including tasks such as cash reconciliation, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients, while also assisting the team with daily client workflow.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Academic Pursuit: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
CPA Track: Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026 – September 2027 in order to be eligible for CPA licensure.
GPA: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall.
Coursework: Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
Leadership: Held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
Prior Experience: Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
Skills:
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Work Authorization: Must provide proof of work authorization such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
