The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Spring (Jan–Apr): 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri; Summer (Jun–Aug): 32 hours/week, Mon-Thu
• Location: In-person, Austin, TX
• Pay: $33 hourly
• Mission: Gain hands-on client work experience and develop technical and professional skills necessary for a successful career in public accounting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Work with clients of all sizes across a diverse range of industries.
• Project Exposure: Gain exposure to complex accounting, tax, and assurance projects.
• Tax Support: Assist with the preparation of tax returns, support clients in tax research, and analyze financial data for tax-saving opportunities.
• Audit Support: Assist with assurance engagements, evaluate internal controls, analyze financial data for risks or improvements, and participate in testing procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate directly with partners, managers, experienced staff, and team members to deliver innovative solutions and maintain client compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Accounting major pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Entry-Level. Minimum 3.3 GPA. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: On track to meet CPA eligibility requirements with a clear plan to pursue CPA licensure. Interest in pursuing a full-time career in public accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to apply skills in data analysis and reporting.
• Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated initiative, strong problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
