The Tone:
This is an internship at CohnReznick, located in San Francisco, CA. This role is crucial for an accounting student to gain hands-on experience, support audit teams, and accelerate their professional development in a collaborative environment. • Mission: This role supports audit engagements by assisting with accounting and auditing practices to ensure client success and compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement: Work on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable.
• Liability Management: Search for unrecorded liabilities and maintain confirmation logs.
• Documentation: Prepare audit work papers to support audit findings.
• Service Delivery: Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Minimum 3.2 GPA in both your major and overall; successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher; leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, comfortable adapting to evolving work environments and embracing change, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and eager to learn new technologies.
