Job Description: Audit Summer Internship Program in Internal Audit
About the Program:
• Duration: June-August 2025
• Location: Addison, TX; Chandler, AZ; Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA (Locations are subject to change).
• Type: 10-week, non-rotational professional development program.
Program Overview:
The Audit Summer Internship Program provides a comprehensive introduction to Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. Interns will gain practical experience through relevant work assignments and participate in various developmental activities.
Key Focus Areas:
• Internal Audit: Internal Audit acts as an independent assurance function that evaluates the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across the entire Wells Fargo enterprise.
• Professional Development: The program offers a blend of business and professional development training opportunities, incorporating real-world experiences to prepare interns for future careers.

• Energetic Self-Starter: Proactively takes initiative, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems while collaborating with a team.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in formal internship program workshops and assignments for low-complexity initiatives.
• Gain familiarity with Wells Fargo policies and procedures through participation in various audit assignments.
• Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment in carrying out responsibilities.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to achieve program goals.
Qualifications:
• Required: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree candidate with an expected graduation in December 2025 – May/June 2026.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities (e.g., volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad, leadership positions, non-profit involvement).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across organizational levels.
• BS/BA degree candidate with a concentration in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or Technology.
Pipeline Program:
Successful interns may receive an offer to return the following year to join the full-time Audit Analyst Development Program.
