About the Job: Audit Summer 2027 Internship – Miami, FL

This is an exciting career opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in audit within a leading professional services firm.

Job Title: Audit Summer 2027 Internship
Location: Miami, FL (hybrid position, with an expectation to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week).
Duration: June to August 2027.

Your Role as an Audit Summer Intern:

As an Audit Summer Intern, you will immerse yourself in accounting and auditing procedures, performing tasks according to firm standards accurately, thoroughly, and timely.

Key Responsibilities Include (But Not Limited To):

• Working on various aspects of an audit engagement, including tasks related to cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and general accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by gathering evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Supporting the team with daily client workflow.

Your Team and Support System:

Engagement Team: You will collaborate closely with a diverse team consisting of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries: The firm serves a wide array of industries, which may include Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (specific industries may vary by office).
Office Environment: The Miami office provides amenities and collaborative spaces for team members.
Performance Coach: A dedicated Performance Coach will meet with you to help establish goals, provide feedback, and offer support to guide your career path.
CR Friend: A “CR Friend” will serve as a familiar face, offering a point of contact and support as you join the firm.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
CPA Track: Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2027 and September 2028, aligning with CPA licensure requirements.
Academic Achievement: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall academic record.
Coursework: Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
Leadership & Experience:
• Held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is considered a plus.
Skills:
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Possess strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Work Authorization: CohnReznick does not offer sponsorship to foreign nationals for Entry Level Roles (new associates and interns). Successful candidates must provide proof of work authorization, such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
