Job Description: Audit Internship

This internship program offers an introduction to the audit profession through real-world experience within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice. You will gain in-depth exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor and work closely with experienced professionals. You will participate in networking activities and receive guidance on your career development. Your counselor will be a valuable resource for information, advice, and performance feedback.

Specifically, you will:

Sharpen analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
Learn how to apply risk assessment concepts and design and perform audit procedures responsive to those risks.
Execute audit procedures using cutting-edge tools and technologies such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.

You will be part of Deloitte’s Japanese Services Group, which provides services primarily to Japan-based multinational companies doing business in the U.S.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or related field
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum requirements for CPA eligibility
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on project needs

Preferred:

• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or related field

Compensation:

The wage range for this role is estimated to be $24.77/hour to $44.77/hour, but actual compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
