• Mission: This role supports clients in navigating public company audits, SEC compliance, PCAOB standards, and financial reporting challenges associated with growth and change.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Work directly with partners, managers, and senior associates on active client engagements within the Capital Markets Group.
• Audit Procedures: Perform financial statement audit procedures, including testing account balances, transactions, and internal controls.
• Documentation: Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation to contribute to engagement files.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and walkthroughs, and conduct analytical procedures and financial statement analyses.
• Research & Support: Research accounting and auditing guidance, and collaborate with engagement teams to address accounting and reporting matters throughout the engagement lifecycle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level; pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with an intention to pursue CPA licensure upon meeting eligibility requirements.
• Experience: No prior experience required; completion of introductory and intermediate accounting coursework is preferred.
• Skills: Strong academic performance; foundational understanding of accounting principles and auditing concepts; strong analytical capabilities.
• Bonus: Leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, employment, volunteer activities, or other campus involvement is a plus.
