• Mission: Support the auditing team by assisting with financial reviews, data analysis, and compliance checks.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Analysis: Analyze and thoroughly review client accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.
• Compliance Evaluation: Evaluate internal control systems, assess audit risk and materiality, and ensure compliance with auditing standards through systematic inquiry, observation, and review processes.
• Documentation: Assist in preparing detailed workpapers that methodically support all audit procedures performed and document findings for review.
• Testing Procedures: Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures to validate financial information and identify potential discrepancies.
• Project Support: Actively assist with various client engagements and other assigned projects, which provides valuable exposure to diverse industries and complex business environments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a business-related field, or an MBA candidate in an Accounting track program. This is an Entry-Level position designed for those seeking their initial hands-on experience in public accounting.
• Experience: Ability to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week during the internship from June to August. This role involves direct participation with a dedicated group of professionals.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills for client and team interaction; Proficiency in computer applications for data analysis and reporting.
• Bonus: A preferred academic standing demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
