Job Description – Audit Internship:

This internship program provides a real-world introduction to the auditing profession. You’ll gain in-depth exposure to the daily responsibilities of an auditor, working closely with experienced professionals and participating in networking activities. The program aims to equip you with valuable skills and knowledge, including:

Sharpening analytical skills: You’ll audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes, gaining practical experience in financial analysis.
Applying risk assessment: You’ll learn to apply concepts of risk assessment and design audit procedures to address those risks effectively.
Utilizing cutting-edge technology: You’ll work with advanced audit tools and technologies like artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.
Understanding the profession’s landscape: You’ll be exposed to current issues shaping the auditing profession and gain insights into your career development.

The successful intern will possess:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or a related field
• Have definitive plans to meet minimum requirements for CPA eligibility
• Be able to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve
• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or a related field
