Job Description
Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance internship offers a hands-on introduction to the auditing profession. As an intern, you’ll experience the real-world application of auditing principles and gain insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Sharpening Analytical Skills: You’ll audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes, developing your analytical abilities.
• Risk Assessment & Audit Procedures: You’ll learn to apply risk assessment concepts and design and perform audit procedures responsive to those risks.
• Cutting-Edge Technology: You’ll utilize Deloitte’s advanced audit tools and technologies, including artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation, to analyze client data.
To be successful in this internship, you should have:
• Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership skills with a focus on judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Independent Work Ethic: Experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or a related field.
• Definitive plans to meet minimum requirements for CPA eligibility.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, depending on the work, clients, and industries served.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Preferred:
• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or a related field.
Compensation:
The wage range for this role is estimated to be $24.77/hour to $44.77/hour, but may vary based on individual factors such as experience, skills, and location.
