Job Description: Audit Intern
This internship program offers a real-world introduction to the audit profession. As an intern in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice, you will:
• Gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession: Learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor and participate in real-world audit projects.
• Work closely with experienced professionals: Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced audit professionals.
• Develop valuable skills: Sharpen your analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. Learn how to apply concepts of risk assessment and design and perform audit procedures.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology: Execute audit procedures using advanced tools and technologies such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.
• Network and build connections: Participate in networking activities and connect with other professionals in the field.
• Receive feedback and guidance: Your counselor will provide timely, constructive feedback on your performance and offer valuable career advice.
Specifically, you will work within Deloitte’s Japanese Services Group, focusing on services for Japan-based multinational companies doing business in the U.S. This will give you unique insights into the international business landscape and provide valuable experience working with clients from different cultures.

• Independent work ethic: Experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or a related field.
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum requirements for CPA eligibility.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
• Preferred:
• Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or a related field.
