Description
The Deloitte Audit & Assurance Internship program offers a hands-on introduction to the auditing profession. As an intern, you’ll gain real-world experience in:
• Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes: This will sharpen your analytical skills and expose you to the day-to-day tasks of an auditor.
• Applying concepts of risk assessment: Learn how to identify and evaluate potential risks associated with a client’s financial reporting.
• Designing and performing audit procedures: Understand the methodology for developing and executing effective audit procedures.
• Utilizing cutting-edge audit tools and technologies: Gain experience with artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
You will work closely with experienced audit professionals, receive guidance and constructive feedback, and have the opportunity to participate in networking activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Proven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment
Currently pursuings:
• Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or related field
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum requirements for CPA eligibility
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
• Preferred:
• Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or related field
This is a paid internship with a reasonable hourly wage range of $24.77 to $44.77.
