What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Assist in executing audit engagements for clients across different industries.
• Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document financial data for audit purposes.
• Fieldwork & Testing: Participate in fieldwork, including testing internal controls and conducting substantive testing.
• Reporting & Documentation: Contribute to the preparation of working papers and audit reports.
• Collaboration & Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify issues and recommend improvements, utilizing technology for data analytics and process automation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a basic understanding of accounting principles and completed coursework in Financial and Managerial Accounting. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required beyond academic preparation, though proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or above, and availability to work full-time (40-55 hours per week), including potential overtime during tax season, are preferred.
