Job Description: Audit Intern
The Internship Program
This internship program provides a hands-on introduction to the auditing profession. As an intern within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice, you’ll gain real-world experience and learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You’ll receive guidance from experienced professionals, participate in networking activities, and gain exposure to current issues shaping the industry. You’ll also receive constructive feedback on your performance from a dedicated counselor.
What You’ll Do
• Sharpen analytical skills: Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Apply risk assessment: Learn how to apply concepts of risk assessment and design audit procedures to address those risks.
• Utilize cutting-edge tools: Execute audit procedures using artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
Qualifications
Required:
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting or a related field
• Definitive plans to meet minimum requirements for CPA eligibility
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred:
• Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or a related field
The Wage Range
A reasonable estimate of the current wage range is $24.77/hour to $44.77/hour. This range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and other business needs.
