Summer 2027 Audit Intern (Northern California) | Armanino

• Mission: To assist engagement teams in performing audit procedures, preparing workpapers, and analyzing financial data to support client needs and contribute to successful engagements.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Support: Assist in performing and documenting audit procedures and preparing workpapers to contribute to the completion of audit, review, and other engagements.
• Team Collaboration: Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team to effectively support client needs.
• Financial Analysis: Interpret and analyze financial data, communicating all findings and issues to the engagement team.
• Industry Research: Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters to inform engagement work.
• Relationship Building: Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team, to develop further professional relationships.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Skills: Ability to interpret and analyze financial data; proficiency in research for client, industry, and technical matters; effective communication of findings and issues to a team; capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bonus: Plans to complete 150 semester or 225 quarter units for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028 is strongly preferred.
