The Tone:
This is an Audit Intern position at Brackwell Hiring Network, starting Winter 2027. The company’s Assurance practice focuses on supporting accounting, financial reporting, and data analysis. This internship is designed to provide a broad business perspective, serving as a launch pad for a career in the field. Interns will develop a deep understanding of business operations and apply accounting knowledge to help solve complex challenges within client environments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Issues: Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial statements through detailed analytical trend analysis.
• Client Service: Demonstrate professionalism while working in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service.
• Regulatory Compliance: Operate effectively in a regulated environment, with a focus on protecting the capital markets and the investing public.
• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with the company’s clients to provide definitive auditing services.
• Insight Sharing: Share value-added insights discovered through data analysis with the company’s clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An anticipated undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, supported by a strong academic record, defining this as an entry-level position.
• Experience: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required, with a preference for candidates with a 3.2 or higher. Candidates must meet minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in their base office state prior to full-time employment and possess a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam.
• Skills: Excellent English language communication skills are essential. Candidates must have the ability and willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary, along with access to reliable transportation to company offices and client sites. For roles in the Government & Public Sector industry, U.S. citizenship is mandatory, with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance or higher. Additionally, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Bonus: A driver’s license is strongly recommended, as public transportation or ride-share options may not be available in all work locations.
