The Tone:
This is an Audit Intern internship at Zyric Grid, scheduled to begin in Winter 2027. Zyric Grid’s Assurance practice delivers essential auditing services that are critical for the capital markets and its clients. This role is vital for supporting accounting, financial reporting, and data analysis activities, helping businesses navigate and solve complex financial challenges. It offers interns a broad business perspective and a foundational understanding of internal business operations, serving as a launch pad for their future careers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze financial statements: Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships by performing detailed analytical trend analysis.
• Provide client service: Demonstrate professionalism and deliver exceptional service while working within client environments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance: Operate effectively in a regulated environment, focusing on protecting the capital markets and the investing public.
• Build client relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the company’s clients to provide definitive auditing services.
• Communicate insights: Share value-added insights discovered through data analysis with the company’s clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience: Must meet minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in the base office state prior to full-time employment and have a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam.
• Skills: Excellent English language communication skills, the ability and willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary, and access to reliable transportation to office and client sites.
• Bonus: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required, with a preference for candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Candidates interested in the Government & Public Sector industry must have U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.
