Description:
This internship is within Crowe’s Audit and Assurance practice. Interns will gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and learn the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes
• Using audit tools and technologies to analyze client data
• Working independently and collaborating with a team of audit professionals
• Delivering exceptional audit client service
• Working on diverse client engagements across various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions
• Auditing benefit plans like 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans
Skills & Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field
• CPA-eligible with 150 credit hours by graduation
• Strong academic credentials
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Desire to travel
Compensation:
The wage range for this role is $24.00 to $38.00 hourly.
