The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Team: Audit + Assurance team, reporting to Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Mission: To assist audit professionals in learning and applying firm policies, audit procedures, and technical accounting standards to client circumstances.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Learn and assist audit professionals under the direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Familiarize: Become familiar with firm policies and procedures, including workpaper preparation, audit, accounting procedures, and documentation and testing of internal controls.
• Research: Keep current on technical issues and learn to apply them to client circumstances.
• Utilize: Become proficient in the use of the Firm’s technology and research tools.
• Develop: Begin to develop a command of GAAP and generally accepted auditing standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year college or university.
• Experience: Zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skills: Foundational accounting knowledge, Strong communication skills, Detail-oriented mindset.
