Job Description
Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice provides an internship program that offers an introduction to the auditing profession. As an intern in this program, you will experience the auditing profession from a real-world perspective. You will receive guidance and work closely with experienced audit professionals, and have the opportunity to participate in networking activities.
You will gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and learn more about the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor, including:
• Auditing client financials
• Auditing transactions
• Auditing internal control processes
• Applying concepts of risk assessment
• Designing and performing audit procedures
You will also execute these audit procedures using cutting-edge audit tools and technologies that use artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to perform data interrogation and analysis of client data.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Proven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or related field
