Job Description
As an Audit & Assurance Intern at Deloitte, you will gain real-world experience in the auditing profession. You will work closely with experienced audit professionals to audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. You will also learn how to apply concepts of risk assessment and how to design and perform audit procedures responsive to those risks.
Responsibilities
• Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes
• Work with audit team members to apply concepts of risk assessment
• Design and perform audit procedures responsive to risks
• Execute audit procedures using cutting-edge audit tools and technologies
• Participate in networking activities
• Receive guidance and feedback from experienced audit professionals
Qualifications
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration of Science degree in Accounting or related field
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum requirements for CPA eligibility
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Proven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong academic record, minimum GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting or related field
