Job Description: Audit and Assurance – Winter Internship (January-March)

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) internship running from January to March. Interns will gain in-depth experience in the auditing profession, working alongside experienced professionals. The role offers exposure to current issues affecting the field and opportunities to develop analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Working independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Utilizing audit tools and technologies (advanced analytics, data visualization, process flow automation).
• Contributing to diverse client engagements across various sectors (manufacturing & distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food & agriculture, insurance, financial institutions).
• Potential involvement in benefit plan audits (401k, pension, employee stock ownership plans).
• Taking initiative and seeking on-the-job learning opportunities.

Skills and Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic record.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong data analytics skills (highly desired).
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer jobs, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends if needed.

Compensation: $27.00 – $42.00 per hour (Note: This is a range and actual compensation will depend on various factors).
