Job Description: Audit and Assurance – Winter Internship (January-March)
This full-time (40 hours/week) internship offers in-depth exposure to the auditing profession. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor, working closely with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Utilizing advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation tools.
• Analyzing client data to provide exceptional client service.
• Working independently and collaboratively on diverse client engagements across various industries (manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions).
• Participation in benefit plan audits (401k, pension, or employee stock ownership plans).
• Taking initiative and seeking on-the-job learning opportunities.
Skills and Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic record.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong data analytics skills (highly desired).
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Compensation: The hourly wage range is $27.00 – $42.00, but the actual offer will depend on factors like skills, experience, and certifications.
