Job Description – Audit and Assurance Internship

This internship offers an immersive experience into the world of auditing. You will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor and work closely with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Auditing Client Financials: You will audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
Analytical Skills Development: Sharpen your analytical skills while using advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
Client Service Delivery: Collaborate with a diverse team of auditors to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Variety of Client Engagements: Participate in audits across diverse industries including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions.
Benefit Plan Audits: Gain experience working on benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
Strong academic credentials.
Proficiency in Excel.
Experience with data analytics is highly desirable.
Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels.
Willingness to travel.

Compensation:

The hourly wage range for this internship is estimated to be $24.00 to $38.00, but specific compensation will be determined based on individual factors such as experience, skills, and other relevant considerations.
