Job Description:
Audit and Assurance Internship
This internship provides in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insights into current industry issues.
Responsibilities:
• Sharpen analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver exceptional client service.
• Utilize advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation tools to analyze client data.
• Participate in diverse client engagements across various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions.
• Gain experience with benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.
Skills & Requirements:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or a similar degree.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
• Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to travel.
Compensation:
• hourly wage range: $24.00 to $38.00 (may vary based on factors like experience, skills, and location).
