About the Summer Internship Program:
Recognized as a Top 3 Media Internship Program nationwide for two consecutive years, iHeartMedia offers an immersive and exciting experience for its 2026 Intern Class. The program features:
• Immersion Days: Meaningful exercises inviting unique perspectives on company initiatives.
• Advertising Campaign Pitch: The entire intern class will collectively develop and pitch an advertising campaign leveraging all iHeart’s platforms.
• Weekly Speaker Series: Engage with leaders from all divisions of the company.
Former interns’ experiences, representing various branches from radio and podcasts to advertising and product development, can be explored on the podcast, “Behind the Mic: The iHeart Intern Life.”

Position Type:
Seasonal, Part-time (20 hours a week)
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour. Salary will be determined by multiple factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
As an intern, you will contribute to various aspects of audio content creation and promotion, including:
• Content Research: Researching guest backgrounds, topics for episodes, and assisting in crafting interview questions.
• Audio Edits: Creating assembly edits from raw audio based on notes, assisting in cleaning and mixing episodes, and creating short-form content for social media.
• Quality Assurance: Listening to completed episodes to review audio content for errors.
• Promotion: Finding clips for social media promotion and assisting in creating social content.
• Publishing: Assistance in crafting show titles and descriptions and scheduling episodes for publish.
• Assisting in general office tasks.
• Preparing and delivering reports as required.
• Learning job processes/requirements in assigned functions.
• Ability to work 20 hours a week.
What You’ll Need (Requirements):
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A genuine interest in iHeartMedia’s company mission and values.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, active listening, and the ability to effectively convey information, proofread, and edit.
• Strong planning and organizing skills: focusing on urgent and important tasks, avoiding procrastination, showing attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Flexibility & creativity; ability to adapt to shifts in priorities and urgencies.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of Adobe Audition and Descript is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration with others.
• Professionalism.
