2027 Assurance Winter Intern – Affordable Housing | EisnerAmper

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at EisnerAmper, located in Atlanta, GA. EisnerAmper is one of the largest and fastest-growing accounting and advisory firms, comprising nearly 4,500 employees and more than 450 partners across the world. This role offers students the opportunity to combine academic knowledge with company training, developing on-the-job technical skills within the firm’s Assurance practice and providing real-world experience for a future career in public accounting.

• Mission: To develop foundational knowledge in financial statement audits and firm practices, applying classroom learning to real-world client engagements under close supervision.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Work: Work on various aspects of a financial statement audit to develop practical knowledge.
• Develop: Develop a working knowledge of the firm’s practices within the Assurance practice.
• Learn: Learn systems and business processes relevant to client engagements.
• Apply: Apply knowledge gained in the classroom with company training to develop technical skills.
• Collaborate: Collaborate directly with seasoned professionals on client engagements under close coaching and supervision.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current Sophomore or Junior (who is applying for a 5-year Master’s degree program), or on track to complete 150 credits for CPA-eligibility.
• Experience: 0-2 years recent public accounting experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Skills: Strong MS Excel, MS Word, time management, organizational skills, work ethic, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Bonus: Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0); 150-Date/Final Graduation of December 2027 through September 2028.
