Assurance Intern

Your Role

As an Assurance Intern within our Technology Risk practice, you will play a crucial role in providing clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. Your contributions will help clients build confidence and trust with their customers by ensuring proper information systems, resources, and controls are in place. This role focuses on maximizing efficiencies and minimizing risk for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape.
• Assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls.
• Help clients maximize efficiencies and minimize risk within their technology environment.
• Collaborate with client personnel and professionals to analyze, evaluate, and enhance client information systems.
• Facilitate the enhancement of the Company’s business processes through improved IT systems.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing or hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline.
• Interest: Demonstrated desire to work in IT audit, evidenced by relevant coursework, expressed interest, or prior internship experience.
• Flexibility & Travel: The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Be prepared for potential travel beyond your primary work location based on client and project needs.
• Government & Public Sector Focus (Specific Requirement):
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher within the designated timeframe, as determined by engagement requirements for security clearance.
• Transportation: Access to reliable transportation to/from the office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended, as ride-share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $36 – $48.08 per hour.
