Job Description: Assurance & Compliance Intern
This internship offers a 10-12 week summer program focused on real-world business problems and opportunities in the IT Audit & Compliance program at Mars.
Responsibilities:
• Gain exposure to IT General Controls (ITGC) framework: control design, implementation, and continuous monitoring.
• Experience the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework used in pre-implementation audit processes.
• Participate in IT Audit fieldwork alongside external auditors and key stakeholders, including:
• Conducting interviews and walkthroughs
• Testing samples
• Analyzing data sets
• Reporting findings
• Learn about the NIST Cyber Security Framework
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Passionate about Information Security, Cyber Security, and the CPG industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, data-driven mindset, and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Collaboration skills and ability to work strategically.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
