What You’ll Actually Do
• Assurance Procedures: Assist with assigned assurance procedures, including audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures.
• Documentation Management: Help reconcile workpapers to trial balance accounts and maintain neat, complete, and organized documentation.
• Conceptual Application: Learn and apply basic concepts of GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting frameworks.
• Testing Support: Assist in determining testing scope, selecting samples, and applying an audit mindset to tasks.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Support the preparation of draft financial statements and help identify potential issues for discussion with the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Entry-Level.
• Experience: Understanding of audit standards and proficiency in learning and utilizing audit-related software and tools.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; accurate mathematical and accounting skills; ability to follow firm procedures and deliver high-quality work.
