Associate Solutions Engineer – France

Start Date: July 28th, 2024

Job Summary:

The Cisco Sales Associates Program offers a global environment that provides structured training and on-the-job experience. As an Associate Solutions Engineer, you will develop your technical, sales, and communication skills. You will learn to position Cisco’s architectures, solutions, products, and technologies to customers.

Your career will continue in a Solutions Engineering role as part of Cisco’s Global Virtual Engineering (GVE) Team. GVE is a technical presales organization that provides software and Solutions Engineering services to customers, partners, and internal Cisco sales teams. As a Solutions Engineer, you will discover, demonstrate, and design solutions by engaging with customers and partners to solve their complex technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate of a technical degree, ideally with an emphasis on networking and computing.
• Certified from a Technical Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College, or Vocational School with up to 3 years of professional experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar or adjacent industry in technical or presales support or a system engineer role.
• Passionate about technical solutions sales and working with customers.
• Excited about turning technical requirements into business value.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certified or currently learning towards CCNA and expected to complete by the program start date.
• Real passion for technology, with an emphasis on networking and computing, and an interest in software languages such as Java and Python.
• Ability to engage an audience by explaining complex technology in simple terms.
• Ability to creatively apply technology to solve customer problems.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Eagerness to establish a long-term Technical Sales career with Cisco.
• Ability to legally live and work in France without company sponsorship or support.
