Associate, Private Equity, Direct Investments Group (Summer 2027 Start) | GIC
The Tone:

This Associate position within the Direct Investments Group is critical for supporting large-scale private equity investments that contribute to Singapore’s financial future and global communities. What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Evaluation: Build detailed financial models, conduct in-depth research on industries and markets, perform financial and commercial due diligence, and synthesize results to evaluate potential investments.
• Investment Communication: Prepare compelling investment presentations, memos, and proposals, and effectively present key findings to the investment committee.
• Portfolio Support: Support GIC representatives during investee company board meetings and regularly interact with company management and other investors.
• Industry Specialization: Contribute as a generalist while developing specialized expertise within 2-3 specific industries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Strong academic qualifications with a generalist perspective, open to specialization within 2-3 industries.
• Experience: At least 2 years of work experience acquired in a top-tier investment bank or a private equity fund.
• Skills: Excellent financial analysis and modeling capabilities, strong written and verbal communication, and robust interpersonal skills for collaborative deal team environments.
