The company’s Digital Grid Management team develops crucial solutions for electric utilities, specifically the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power delivery. This position offers a valuable entry point into the evolving field of power systems and grid technology, allowing you to contribute to critical infrastructure while learning from experienced engineers and consultants.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $64200–$80200 yearly
• Team: Digital Grid Management team
• Mission: Assist electric utilities in enhancing grid monitoring and management through ADMS technology implementation.
• Tech Stack: ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System), OMS (Outage Management System), DMS (Distribution Management System)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Process Analysis: Assist with reviews of utility business processes and help document workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Requirement Gathering: Support project teams by meticulously gathering requirements and preparing basic analysis for ADMS implementations.
• Technical Contribution: Learn about electric distribution operations and ADMS technology to provide informed input during various project activities.
• Change Management Support: Help facilitate change management efforts by preparing essential materials and supporting communication strategies for new system adoption.
• Implementation Tasks: Contribute directly to software implementation through testing activities, comprehensive documentation, and design support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Required prior internship experience. Must have the ability to travel to both domestic and international customer sites as needed.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong oral and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Capable of multi-tasking on several parallel projects in a fast-paced environment.
