What You’ll Actually Do
• Originate Activities: Support senior managers by preparing historical and projected financial statements and analyzing the financial implications of mergers and acquisitions.
• Execute Deals: Manage execution activities including data gathering, conducting analysis, preparing material, and overseeing standard processes such as deal documentation.
• Model Valuations: Construct and apply valuation models informed by financial research and analysis, including comparable company, discounted cash flow, and comparable acquisitions analyses.
• Prepare Approvals: Develop analytical materials necessary for various internal approvals such as credit, compliance, engagement committee, and balance sheet reviews.
• Conduct Reviews: Perform corporate operations reviews, portfolio analytic reviews, and prepare comprehensive risk/return valuations for diverse financial scenarios.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree, with experience as an Associate in a financial advisory or investment banking capacity.
• Experience: Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with strong multi-tasking skills in a client-facing environment.
• Skills: Strong analytical and numerical capabilities for financial data analysis, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and robust financial reporting skills.
• Bonus: An undergraduate degree with a focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics is preferred.
