Associate, Investments & Strategic Finance | Madison Hunt
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Madison Hunt, located in Houston, TX. The company is a technology-driven power infrastructure platform focused on developing large-scale power generation solutions for hyperscale data centers and other energy-intensive customers. It integrates natural gas generation, high-voltage infrastructure, battery storage, and renewable solutions to deliver dedicated power outside traditional utility interconnections. Over the past year, the platform has secured multi-billion-dollar institutional investment and formed partnerships with major companies in the power and energy sectors. This Associate role is crucial for evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting the financing and development of a rapidly scaling, multi-gigawatt development pipeline to meet accelerating AI-driven power demand.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluate: Evaluate new power generation and infrastructure investment opportunities.
• Model: Build detailed project finance and corporate valuation models.
• Support: Support acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Assist: Assist with project financing and capital raising initiatives.
• Prepare: Prepare investment committee materials, board presentations, and financing analyses.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 2–5 years of experience across power & utilities investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or corporate development. Understanding of infrastructure investing and project finance.
• Experience: Experience supporting complex transactions or investment opportunities.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Bonus: Interest in power generation, digital infrastructure, and AI-driven energy demand; entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, high-growth environment.
