Job Description: Cybersecurity Engineer

ACL is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join their expanding team of applied researchers and engineers. You’ll be working on projects that redefine the cutting edge of customer and internally funded R&D, shaping the future of cyber innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of cutting-edge cyber solutions for the DoD and IC.
• Design and implement innovative Information Operations (IO) and Computer Network Operations (CNO) technologies.
• Conduct guided research and prototype development to advance cyber capabilities.
• Collaborate with a world-class team of researchers and engineers to deliver impactful solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Security, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated skills in user-space or kernel-space development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python software development.
• Experience with networking protocols and socket application development.
• Expertise in debugging tools like gdb, windbg, OllyDbg, Valgrind.
• Ability to conduct guided technical research explorations.
• Eligibility for Top-Secret clearance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Applied research skills.
• Embedded systems development experience.
• Compiler design and implementation expertise.
• Knowledge of machine-learning and artificial intelligence.
• Experience with static and dynamic reverse engineering on x86/x86_64, MIPS, ARM, or PowerPC.
• Expertise in vulnerability analysis of source code or binaries.
• IDS and PSP design and implementation skills.
• Cyber/IO/CNO R&D experience.
• Current Top-Secret clearance.
