Associate Clinical Account Specialist (ACAS) Job Description
This is a 6-9 month training program designed for individuals with little to no experience in electrophysiology (EP). Upon successful completion, the ACAS will be promoted to a Clinical Account Specialist (CAS).
Responsibilities:
• Training: Participate in all aspects of the ACAS fellowship training program.
• Clinical Support: Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the effective use of Biosense Webster’s systems and catheter equipment (e.g., The CARTO® System, associated software modules and RF generator) during case procedures within an assigned geography.
• Communication: Engage in dialogue with internal and external business partners and stakeholders, build relationships with EP lab personnel, and drive collaboration across the assigned responsibilities with the local team/Pod, as well as the support team.
• Problem Solving: Prioritize and respond to requests in a high-stress environment, maintain composure during stressful interactions, and solve technical issues during case procedures.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Priority given to candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in fields like Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering, Health Sciences, Informatics, or Physics.
• A valid driver’s license issued in the United States and successful completion of a background investigation are required.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Advanced-level computer skills and the ability to multitask without direct oversight are required.
• Currently or have recently completed (within the last 6 months) a SkillBridge internship at Johnson and Johnson, is required.
• Relocation to a pre-identified sales area after completion of the ACAS Training Program is required.
Note: Work visa sponsorships and OPT/CPT are not offered for this role.
Compensation and Benefits:
• The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,000.
• The company offers competitive, performance-based compensation programs including an annual performance bonus.
