What You’ll Actually Do
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as measurement, scheduling, business development, and contract administration to complete monthly close processes.
• Operational Accounting Management: Perform essential operational accounting duties, including pipeline volume allocations, invoicing, and settlement of customer contracts.
• Financial Close Support: Assist with the segment’s month-end closing process, which involves both the entry and thorough review of journal entries.
• Client & Audit Assistance: Provide dedicated customer support and service, while also supporting internal and external audit requests and preparing necessary ad hoc reports.
• Process Improvement: Embrace and adapt to changes, take initiative to learn various systems and processes, and suggest solutions for process improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, positioning this as an early career opportunity.
• Experience: This role seeks candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a foundational skill for this position.
• Bonus: Experience using Alteryx or Power BI is a plus, and familiarity with SAP, QPTM, or Horizon systems is preferred.
