Associate | Product Connections (part of Acosta Group)

The Tone:
This is a part-time role with Product Connections, part of Acosta Group, conducting in-store demonstrations in various retail locations. Product Connections is a marketing agency focused on creating impactful brand solutions through retail events, demos, and experiential marketing, aiming to connect products with target audiences. This role is crucial for engaging consumers directly, educating them about products, and driving sales by effectively communicating product features and benefits, thereby guiding consumers through the conversion funnel.

What You’ll Actually Do
Learn: Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products represented in demonstrations.
Engage: Proactively intercept and interact with consumers to present products and drive sales.
Prepare: Safely prepare and serve food and non-food samples using various small appliances and tools.
Maintain: Ensure a clean, sterile, and safe demonstration workstation at all times.
Execute: Set up the event table correctly and ensure 100% execution of assigned demonstration work.
Report: Complete and submit all online event reports and expense reports accurately and on time.

The Must-Haves
Background: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); this is an early career position.
Experience: No specific prior experience is required; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training is preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device; effective communication of product features and benefits; aptitude for acquiring product knowledge; ability to prepare and handle food safely.
Bonus: One to three months of related experience and/or training; bilingual skills (based on business necessity); possession of a Local Food Handler’s Permit (may be required).
